Dr. R. Joshua Cesaire is an eminent scholar-practitioner and educator. His research examines how to improve people’s lives through scholarship, industry knowledge, and community service. He is a leader in various industries and lends his expertise to universities, industry events, and outreach programs. His work is focused on improving the world around us. In addition, he has been known in the theological field for his long career researching and analyzing new ways to educate black children. As a teacher, Dr. Cesaire has worked for the Berrien County, MI, and Philadelphia, PA, school districts, respectively.

Additionally, he has provided pastoral care and ministry development to several congregations as a pastor. He is an international and sought-after speaker and lecturer on many vital topics, including Black History, Organizational Leadership, and Biblical Science in North America and the Caribbean. He works to create Juneteenth Intercontinental University to transform the lives of racialized, low-income, and historically underrepresented students through quality, relevant, skills-based education and by fostering innovation and leadership in people of color.
